C-41 process

The C-41 process is a standardized method used to develop color photographic film. After exposing the film to light, it undergoes chemical treatment in a series of baths: first, a developer that reveals the image, then washes to remove excess chemicals, followed by an fixer that stabilizes the colors and makes the image permanent. This process transforms the exposed film into visible, color-rich photographs. C-41 is the most common process for consumer color film, offering consistent results and reliable color reproduction. It is performed in specialized labs or with dedicated home processing kits.
