Butane
Butane is a hydrocarbon fuel composed of carbon and hydrogen atoms, primarily used for heating, cooking, and portable energy sources like lighters and camping stoves. It is a flammable, colorless gas at room temperature, which can be stored as a liquid under pressure in canisters. When released, it quickly turns into gas and burns efficiently. Butane is also utilized in the production of gasoline and as a propellant in aerosol products. It’s relatively easy to handle in controlled environments but must be used carefully due to its flammable nature.
