Business Tort
A business tort is a wrongful act that damages a company's reputation, assets, or ability to do business, outside of normal contractual obligations. These acts include unfair competition, misrepresentation, interference with another business's contracts, or false advertising. Essentially, it's when someone causes harm to a business through illegal or unethical conduct that harms its reputation or economic interests. Business torts are addressed through civil lawsuits, allowing the injured party to seek compensation or stop the harmful behavior.
