Burgundy Wine Council

The Burgundy Wine Council (Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne, CIVB) is an industry organization responsible for promoting, protecting, and regulating Burgundy wines. It unites producers, traders, and growers to ensure quality standards, marketing, and the preservation of Burgundy’s wine reputation. The CIVB also works to support the region’s wine industry by providing research, education, and advocating for policies that benefit Burgundy wines locally and internationally. Essentially, it functions as a coordinator and advocate to help Burgundy maintain its renown as a premier wine region.
