Burgundy Wine
Burgundy wine comes from the Burgundy region in eastern France and is renowned for its high-quality wines. There are mainly two types: red and white. Red Burgundy is made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes, known for its elegant, complex flavors, while white Burgundy is primarily made from Chardonnay grapes, offering rich, creamy profiles. The wine's characteristics are influenced by the region’s unique climate, soil, and winemaking traditions. Burgundy wines are often categorized into four levels: Grand Cru, Premier Cru, Village, and Regional, with Grand Cru being the highest quality. Each level reflects the vineyard's location and reputational history.
