Buoyancy Compensator

A buoyancy compensator, often called a BCD, is a device used by scuba divers to control their buoyancy underwater. It consists of an inflatable bladder that can be filled with air to make the diver more buoyant or deflated to become less buoyant. By adding or releasing air, the diver can easily ascend, descend, or maintain a steady depth. The BCD helps with comfortable movement, safety, and conserving energy during dives, functioning as both a buoyancy control device and a harness for attaching equipment.
