
Buffalo Memorial Auditorium
Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, also known as "The Aud," was a historic sports arena in Buffalo, New York. Opened in 1940, it served as a venue for hockey, basketball, concerts, and other events. It was home to the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the NBA's Buffalo Braves (later the Los Angeles Clippers). Known for its distinctive design and intimate atmosphere, it hosted numerous memorable sports moments and concerts over its six-decade lifespan. The arena was closed in 1996 and replaced by the HarborCenter complex, and it was demolished in 2009.
