Buck Weaver

Buck Weaver was a professional baseball player in the early 20th century, known for his skill as an infielder with the Chicago White Sox. He gained notoriety because he was involved in the 1919 Black Sox scandal, where several players conspired to throw the World Series for gambling money. Although Weaver was accused of knowing about the fix, he denied participating in any wrongdoing.
