Brownlow Medal
The Brownlow Medal is an award given annually to the best and fairest player in the Australian Football League (AFL). During each game, umpires award votes to the players they believe performed best, typically giving the top three players 3, 2, and 1 votes. At the end of the season, the player with the highest total votes wins the medal. It recognizes consistent high-quality performance combined with fair play, emphasizing both skill and sportsmanship throughout the season.
