Brouillards

Brouillards are a type of high-altitude cloud formation composed of tiny ice crystals that form above 20,000 feet. They often appear as thin, wispy, or hazy layers in the sky, giving a fog-like appearance at high elevation. These clouds are commonly associated with cold air masses and can indicate approaching weather changes. Because they occur high in the atmosphere, brouillards can influence aviation, affecting visibility and flight safety, and are studied to better understand atmospheric conditions and weather patterns.
