Brothers Montgolfier
The Brothers Montgolfier, Joseph-Michel and Jacques-Étienne Montgolfier, were French inventors who created the first successful hot air balloon in the late 18th century. They devised a balloon made from fabric and paper, heated the air inside it to make it rise, and launched it outdoors. Their pioneering work in aeronautics demonstrated that lighter-than-air flight was possible, inspiring future developments in aviation. Their historic hot air balloon flight took place in 1783, marking a significant milestone in human exploration of the skies.
