Brooks' Law

Brooks' Law states that adding more people to a late software project typically makes it later. This happens because new team members need time to get up to speed, which can slow down the entire team as existing members spend time on training and coordination. Instead of speeding up the project, extra personnel often create more communication overhead and complexity. Essentially, when a project is behind schedule, increasing the team can inadvertently cause further delays rather than speeding things up.
