Bronchoscopes
A bronchoscope is a medical instrument used by doctors to examine the inside of the lungs and airways. It’s a flexible or rigid tube with a light and camera at the tip, allowing doctors to see and diagnose issues like infections, tumors, or blockages. During a procedure called bronchoscopy, the scope is gently inserted through the nose or mouth and down into the lungs. This tool helps in collecting tissue samples, removing mucus, or treating certain lung problems, providing valuable information without needing more invasive surgery.
