Brian Boru

Brian Boru was an Irish king who lived from around 941 to 1014 and is celebrated for uniting Ireland under a single leadership for the first time. As High King, he worked to strengthen his realm and defend it against Norse invaders and rival Irish factions. His leadership marked a period of relative stability and resurgence in Irish history. Boru is remembered as a symbol of Irish unity and resilience, especially for his role in the Battle of Clontarf in 1014, where he fought to protect Ireland from external threats.
