Breech
Breech refers to a position of a baby inside the womb where the baby's buttocks or feet are closest to the birth canal, rather than the head. Usually, babies are head-down in the uterus, preparing for birth. A breech position can make delivery more complicated and may require special management or cesarean section. The condition can be diagnosed during pregnancy through ultrasound, and healthcare providers monitor the position to plan the safest delivery method. Breech presentation occurs in a certain percentage of pregnancies and can sometimes be corrected before labor begins with specific exercises or medical procedures.
