Breast

Breasts are paired organs located on the chest, primarily composed of glandular tissue, fat, and connective tissue. Their main function is to produce milk to nourish infants through lactation. Structural components include ducts that transport milk from glands to the nipple, and lobules where milk is produced. Breasts also contain blood vessels, lymph vessels, and nerves. They vary in size and shape among individuals due to genetics and other factors. While primarily known for breastfeeding, breasts also play a role in body image and sexual identity. Regular self-examinations and medical checkups help monitor breast health.
