brain circulation

Brain circulation refers to the network of blood vessels that supply the brain with oxygen-rich blood and remove waste products. Blood is pumped from the heart through arteries, then travels via the carotid and vertebral arteries into the brain. Inside, it flows through a complex system of smaller arteries and capillaries, delivering nutrients needed for brain function. Deoxygenated blood then drains out through veins, completing the cycle. This circulation is crucial because the brain depends heavily on a continuous blood supply to function properly, and any disruption can lead to neurological issues like strokes or brain damage.
