Braden's Law

Braden's Law states that the severity of a patient's illness—specifically, their risk of death—is directly related to the number of different health problems they have simultaneously. In other words, as the number of concurrent conditions increases, the likelihood of a poor outcome or mortality also rises. This law highlights the importance of managing multiple health issues carefully, as each additional problem compounds the overall risk. It underscores that comprehensive care addressing all existing health concerns is crucial for improving patient survival chances.
