Braconidae
Braconidae are a large family of wasps known for their role in natural pest control. They are typically small, often less than a few millimeters to a centimeter long, and usually have slender bodies. Many braconid wasps are parasitoids, meaning their larvae develop inside or on a host insect, such as caterpillars or beetles, eventually killing it. These wasps play an important part in ecosystems by keeping pest populations in check, making them valuable allies in agriculture. They do not sting humans and are generally considered beneficial insects.
