Brachial Plexus Network

The brachial plexus is a network of nerves located near your neck and shoulder that supplies sensation and movement to your arm and hand. It is formed by the nerves coming from the spinal cord in the neck area (cervical and upper thoracic spine). This network branches out into individual nerves that control muscles and transmit sensory information like touch and temperature. The brachial plexus is essential for everyday arm movements and sensations, and injuries here can result in weakness, numbness, or loss of function in the arm or hand.
