Box-Whisker plot
A box-and-whisker plot visually summarizes a dataset's distribution. It displays the median (middle value), the spread of the central 50% (the box), and the overall range of the data (the whiskers). The box shows where most data points lie, while the whiskers extend to the smallest and largest values within a reasonable range. Outliers, or unusually high or low values, are often shown as individual dots. This chart helps you quickly understand the data’s central tendency, variability, and whether it is skewed or has outliers.
