Bouncing Bomb

A bouncing bomb is a specialized explosive device designed to skip across water's surface, much like a stone skipping on a pond. Its purpose is to approach a target underwater, such as a dam or ship, undetected. The bomb is armed with a timed fuse and designed to bounce over obstacles, avoiding torpedo nets or defenses, until it reaches close to the structure. Once it hits the water, it sinks to a specific depth and detonates after a set time, causing damage from within. This innovative approach was notably used during World War II to attack enemy infrastructure effectively.
