Bouleuterion

A Bouleuterion was an ancient Greek building used as a council house for local government. It served as the meeting place for a city's council, called the boule, which was responsible for administrative decisions, policymaking, and overseeing civic functions. Typically rectangular with rows of seats or benches for council members, the Bouleuterion played a central role in civic life, allowing officials to gather, discuss issues, and make decisions collectively.
