Bosnian Serbs
The Bosnian Serbs are an ethnic group primarily from Serbia and the Republika Srpska entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina. Historically, they are Slavic people with a shared cultural and religious identity, mainly Orthodox Christianity. During the 1990s Yugoslav Wars, Bosnian Serbs sought to establish their own political territory, leading to conflict, ethnic tension, and humanitarian crises. Today, they are one of the three constituent peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a significant influence over their region's political and social life, maintaining cultural traditions rooted in their Serbian heritage.
