Bosnia Conflict

The Bosnia conflict, part of the breakup of Yugoslavia in the early 1990s, was a brutal war involving ethnic groups: Bosniaks (Muslims), Croats, and Serbs. Tensions arose over territorial and political control, leading to widespread violence, including ethnic cleansing and genocide, particularly against Bosniaks. International intervention aimed to stop the fighting and promote peace. The conflict ended with the Dayton Accords in 1995, establishing a complex government structure to balance power among ethnic groups and restore stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
