Borreliosis

Borreliosis, commonly known as Lyme disease, is an infection caused by bacteria called Borrelia, transmitted through the bite of infected ticks. Symptoms often include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash called erythema migrans. If not treated promptly with antibiotics, it can spread and cause more severe issues such as joint pain, neurological problems, or heart complications.
