Bork Lab
The Bork Lab is a research group led by Professor Hans Bork that studies the human microbiome—the collection of trillions of microorganisms living in and on our bodies. Their work focuses on understanding how these microbes influence health and disease, how they interact with our immune system, and how they can be targeted for therapies. Using advanced genomic and computational techniques, the lab aims to uncover ways to improve health outcomes, develop new treatments, and better understand the complex ecosystems within us.
