Boris Podolsky

Boris Podolsky was a Russian-born American physicist known for his work in quantum mechanics. He co-developed the famous Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) paradox in 1935, which challenged the then-current understanding of quantum theory. The paradox questioned whether quantum mechanics could be a complete description of reality, highlighting strange phenomena like entanglement—where particles become linked so that the state of one instantly influences another, regardless of distance.
