Bordoibam Borphukan

Bordoibam Borphukan was a prominent military and political leader in 18th-century Assam, India. As the chief of the Ahom kingdom's army in western Assam, he played a key role in defending the region against external threats, especially from Mughal forces. He also served as the governor of Guwahati and was involved in the administration of the area. His leadership helped maintain Assamese independence during a turbulent period of invasions and internal conflicts.
