Boost converter

A boost converter is an electronic device that increases (or "boosts") the voltage from a lower level to a higher one. It works by temporarily storing energy in an inductor when a switch is closed, then releasing that energy to raise the voltage when the switch is opened. This process allows the converter to efficiently convert a lower voltage power source, like a battery, into a higher voltage output used to power different electronic components. It's commonly used in applications such as battery-powered devices, solar power systems, and portable electronics to ensure the correct voltage level is maintained.
