Boost Control

Boost control in a turbocharged engine manages the amount of compressed air entering the engine, optimizing power and efficiency. A boost controller adjusts how much the turbocharger compresses air by regulating a wastegate or boost valve. This ensures the engine produces the desired power without over-boosting, which could damage components. Proper boost control improves performance, fuel economy, and engine safety by maintaining consistent pressure levels and preventing excessive stress on engine parts.
