Boomerang (weapon)
A boomerang is a curved, flat instrument traditionally used as a hunting tool and weapon by Indigenous Australians. Designed with an aerodynamic shape, it can be thrown with a specific spin to achieve lift and stability during flight. While many associate boomerangs with returning to the thrower, not all do; some are designed solely for throwing in a straight line. When properly thrown, the spinning motion and aerodynamic design enable it to travel through the air efficiently, making it effective for hunting or sport. Boomerangs highlight skillful craftsmanship and understanding of aerodynamics.
