Boiling
Boiling is the process where a liquid transforms into a gas when it reaches its specific temperature called the boiling point. At this temperature, bubbles of vapor form inside the liquid and rise to the surface, resulting in rapid and vigorous vaporization. This happens because the molecules gain enough energy to overcome the forces holding them together. For example, water boils at 100°C (212°F) at standard atmospheric pressure. Boiling efficiently transfers heat and is essential in cooking, sterilization, and various industrial processes, involving the rapid phase change from liquid to vapor.
