Boddhisattva
A Bodhisattva is a compassionate being in Mahayana Buddhism committed to achieving enlightenment not just for themselves, but to help all other beings attain freedom from suffering. They consciously delay their own full enlightenment to remain accessible and actively assist others on their spiritual journeys. Essentially, a Bodhisattva embodies selfless compassion, wisdom, and altruism, striving to uplift everyone toward enlightenment and liberation. This ideal highlights the importance of empathy and service, emphasizing that spiritual growth is intertwined with aiding the well-being of others.
