Bobo doll experiment (Albert Bandura)
The Bobo doll experiment by Albert Bandura studied how children learn aggression through observation. In the experiment, children watched a adultMODEL behave aggressively toward a inflatable clown doll (Bobo). Later, when given the chance to play with similar toys, many children imitated the aggressive actions they had seen, such as hitting and shouting at the doll. The study demonstrated that children can learn aggressive behaviors by watching others, especially when the observed behavior seems to be rewarded or not punished. It highlighted the importance of observational learning and how media or environment influences behavior.
