BMP-1
The BMP-1 is a Soviet-designed infantry fighting vehicle introduced in the 1960s. It combines the functions of transporting soldiers, providing fire support, and crossing rough terrain. It is fitted with a 73mm main gun, a smaller machine gun, and sometimes additional armaments, allowing it to engage both infantry and lightly armored targets. Its design enables troops to quickly move into combat zones while offering some protection and firepower. The BMP-1 has been widely used by various countries and served as a basis for many modern infantry fighting vehicles.
