Blood pressure monitors

Blood pressure monitors are devices used to measure the force of blood against the walls of your arteries as your heart pumps. They typically consist of a cuff that inflates around your upper arm or wrist, a gauge or digital display, and sometimes a microphone or sensor. When you activate the monitor, it inflates the cuff to temporarily stop blood flow, then gradually deflates while measuring how blood flows again. The readings give you two numbers: systolic pressure (when the heart beats) and diastolic pressure (when the heart rests). Regular monitoring helps assess cardiovascular health and manage conditions like hypertension.
