Block

A block is a collection of data that is stored as a single unit within a blockchain, similar to a page in a ledger or a chapter in a book. Each block contains a set of transactions, a timestamp, and a unique code called a hash that links it to the previous block, creating an unchangeable chain. This structure ensures the integrity and transparency of the data, making it difficult to alter past transactions. Blocks are verified by network participants (nodes) and added sequentially, forming a secure and decentralized record of all activities within the blockchain system.
