Blind Football
Blind football, also known as blind soccer, is a modified version of soccer designed for players with visual impairments. It is typically played on a smaller, enclosed field, with teams of five players and one goal-keeper. Players wear eye covers to ensure fairness, except for the goalkeeper who may be sighted or partially sighted. The ball contains a sound-emitting device, allowing players to locate it through hearing. Communication, teamwork, and spatial awareness are crucial. The sport promotes inclusion, physical activity, and skill development for individuals with visual disabilities, adhering to international standards set by organizations like IBSA (International Blind Sports Federation).
