Blesseds
Blesseds are individuals recognized by the Catholic Church as having lived lives of exceptional holiness and virtue, and who are officially beatified. Beatification is a formal step toward sainthood, acknowledging that the person is worthy of public veneration and that a miracle has been attributed to their intercession. Blesseds are honored locally or nationally, serving as models of faith and devotion. They are beatified before canonization, which declares someone a saint. Overall, a Blessed is someone who has demonstrated outstanding holiness and is on the path toward possible sainthood within the Church.
