Blackshirt

The Blackshirts were members of Italy’s Fascist paramilitary organization led by Benito Mussolini during the early to mid-20th century. They served as the militant arm of the Fascist Party, enforcing its policies and intimidating opponents to consolidate Mussolini’s power. Recognizable by their black uniforms, they played a key role in suppressing dissent and establishing authoritarian control in Italy. The Blackshirts became a symbol of Fascist strength and nationalism, often engaging in violent actions to promote Mussolini’s agenda and expand Italy’s influence.
