Black Rock City

Black Rock City is a temporary, miles-long city built in the Nevada desert each summer for the annual Burn event, known as Burning Man. It features art installations, themed camps, and communal activities, all created by participants. Designed to foster self-expression, creativity, and community, the city has no permanent infrastructure; it is entirely assembled and dismantled annually, leaving no trace. This unique gathering attracts artists, performers, and adventurers from around the world, celebrating principles like radical self-reliance and participation while emphasizing environmental responsibility.
