Black Mamas Matter Alliance

The Black Mamas Matter Alliance is a coalition dedicated to improving the health, rights, and experiences of Black mothers and families. They focus on addressing disparities in maternal care, advocating for policies that support Black maternal health, and promoting community-led solutions. Recognizing that Black women face higher risks of complications and mortality during pregnancy and childbirth, the alliance works to raise awareness, provide education, and influence systemic change to ensure equitable, respectful, and culturally appropriate healthcare. Their goal is to empower Black women and improve outcomes for mothers and babies.
