Black lights
Black lights are special ultraviolet (UV) light sources that emit UV rays not visible to the human eye. When these UV rays strike certain materials or substances, they cause them to fluoresce, or glow brightly, revealing colors and patterns not normally visible under regular lighting. Commonly used in entertainment, art, forensic analysis, and security, black lights create a visually striking effect by highlighting specific objects, stains, or materials. Despite their name and appearance, black lights are safe when used properly, as the UV exposure is minimal, but prolonged exposure should be avoided.
