Black Caucus

The Black Caucus is a group of elected lawmakers, primarily African American, who work together to address issues affecting Black communities. They advocate for policies related to civil rights, education, healthcare, economic opportunity, and social justice. By collaborating, they aim to influence legislation and promote equality. The caucus can exist at the federal level, such as the Congressional Black Caucus in the U.S. Congress, or at state and local levels. Its goal is to ensure that the interests and voices of Black citizens are represented and advanced within government decision-making.
