Black Box Theory refers to a system or device where we can observe its inputs and outputs but cannot see or understand its internal workings. Think of it like a mysterious machine: you put something in, it processes internally, and then produces a result, but the details of how it does so remain hidden. This approach is useful in fields like engineering, neuroscience, and computer science for studying or designing systems whose inner mechanisms are complex or unknown, focusing instead on understanding how they behave based on what goes in and what comes out.
