Black Australian history

Black Australian history centers on the Indigenous peoples of Australia—the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples—who have lived on the continent for tens of thousands of years. They have rich cultures, languages, and spiritual beliefs. European colonization began in 1788, leading to displacement, loss of lands, and ongoing injustices, including displacement, discrimination, and policies like the Stolen Generations.
