BJ Fogg Behavior Model
The BJ Fogg Behavior Model suggests that for someone to do a specific behavior, three things must happen at the same time: a trigger (prompt or cue), the person's motivation to perform the behavior, and their ability to do it. If any of these elements are missing, the behavior is unlikely to occur. For example, to start exercising, you need to feel motivated, see or hear a prompt to exercise, and find it easy enough to do. The model helps design interventions by ensuring these three factors align to encourage desired behaviors.
