BiPAP S/T mode
BiPAP S/T mode is a setting on a bilevel positive airway pressure machine used to help with breathing. It provides two levels of air pressure: a higher pressure when you breathe in (IPAP) to support inhalation, and a lower pressure when you breathe out (EPAP) to make exhaling easier. "S/T" stands for "Spontaneous/Timed," meaning the machine detects your natural breathing efforts and supports them, but if your breathing slows or stops, it automatically provides breaths to maintain proper oxygen levels. This ensures both comfort and consistent ventilation for individuals with respiratory issues.
