Biological Sonar
Biological sonar, often referred to as echolocation, is a natural method used by certain animals, like bats and dolphins, to navigate and locate objects. These creatures emit sound waves that travel through the air or water, bounce off nearby objects, and return to them. By analyzing the returning sound waves, they can determine the size, shape, distance, and even texture of the objects around them. This ability helps them hunt for food, avoid obstacles, and communicate. Essentially, it's nature's way of giving these animals a 'sight' through sound, allowing them to sense their environment effectively.
